Our Story
A Need Recognized.

Rich Dishman and Phil Young started MPX in 1987 as a Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance (MR) replacement parts business. As they worked with hospitals and imaging professionals across the country, they recognized a growing need: hospitals required a reliable way to maintain diagnostic imaging services while equipment was being replaced or facilities were undergoing construction.
In 1989, they built MPX’s first mobile CT trailer. The positive response was immediate, and MPX soon expanded its inventory of mobile scanners to meet the growing demand.
